The West Friendship VFD assisted Glenelg High School Resource Officer Steve Willingham with a DWI Mock Crash Scenario for the seniors and juniors. Two crashed vehicles with 8 students acting as victims were staged on the parking lot. HCPD and Fire Department personnel from Station 3 responded and extricated the victims. Our staffing for this event included 6 career staff and 9 volunteers. After the conclusion of the program, members then trained on cutting up the vehicles to sharpen their skills.
