Units from WFVFD and surrounding companies responded early this morning for a house fire in Marriottsville in the 3-07 box. At 00:55, the alarm sounded for the 1200 block of Sugar Maple Drive. Initial callers advised there was an electric vehicle in the garage that was on fire. Units arrived to find heavy fire showing from the attached garage and worked quickly to extinguish the blaze. The fire was placed under control within an hour, and one firefighter was treated for minor injuries. Units cleared at 05:36 and the fire is under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal.
