At 12:02 this afternoon Engine 31 was dispatched for the reported basement fire in Eldersburg. Upon arrival in the 6200 block of Rolling View Drive units from the Sykesville-Freedom District VFD found just that and began fire attack. The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes and the cause is currently under investigation. Engine 31 operated on scene until 12:39.
