Just before midnight Station 3 units were alerted to a rescue with a tanker truck off the road. As the dispatch was receiving the information on the call the caller said there was a second vehicle involved. Upon arrival units found a tanker and a pickup truck on the side of I-70 Westbound. The tanker was carrying 7800 gallons of diesel fuel but there were no leaks found. Units assessed both patients and the pickup truck driver was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore while the tanker driver refused medical treatment. Units had cleared around 0100 Thursday morning.
