Shortly after 10:00 this morning units from West Friendship were dispatched to the McDonald’s in Lisbon Center for reports of a structure fire. First arriving units from Lisbon encountered a smoke haze throughout the lobby area and an odor of burning food, leading to an extensive investigation to find the source.
Tower 3 laddered the roof as part of the investigation group and participated in opening up various parts of the ventilation system. After scaling back the call, a source was ultimately discovered in the HVAC system and the call was closed in just under two hours.
